Well, said I’d try to be back! And I am! This is another little cutie card: I have used a Lili of the Valley image. Wow! Nobody else does cute like LOTV! Love it!!
I’v used a free download printable for the backing paper and watercolour pencils to colour the image. The downloadable paper is from the Club Inspire Members section of Crafters Companion. If you sign up (for free) to Club Inspire then this paper can be found in the download of the month section in April 2012. I made some paper flowers to decorate the image. The flowers are made using a rolled flower technique and the others are made simply using a building up hand cut shapes method. I think they look quite nice, though. To build up the card base, I have used punched and die cut panels. I hand-drew and inked around the sentiment. The ink I’ve used is DI Vintage Photo.
I’d like to enter this card into the following challenge:
Cute Card Thursday – http://cutecardthursday.blogspot.co.uk/ – Something Borrowed (which is the watercolour pencils which are really my mums!)
Sorry it’s only a quickie! Shall be back in a week or so! In the meantime happy crafting!
